As legend, who rolled
its big wheels over reality would have it;
he started out as a comedian,
No one actually knew where it all began,
Just bam –
there he was frolicking on the scene,
lips tights and a voice so redundant
crowds silenced, not in awe of his expression,
but straining to hear the actual words
drooping from his mouth, scorched,
unabashed, fortified by his gigantic belief
every hardship he spoke of was real.
It’s hard to imagine the wise,
sterile man before us,
once made a living making people laugh.
