Curtis Emery

Curtis Emery is an MFA candidate for poetry at Sierra Nevada College where he continues to hone his craft and explore new avenues for literary expression. He has been awarded second and third place for the Marjorie Sparrow Poetry Award by the acclaimed Brian Turner for his work with the poems “My Mind in Los Angeles” and “My Life is a Blakeian Farce.” Curtis has been published in In Parentheses and has been featured on numerous poetry focused blogs. He is an avid musician who plays in two prominent punk rock acts in Boston.
