Workshops

Boston Poetry Magazine is looking to start a poetry group in the Boston area, possibly at the Boston Public Library. We’re pretty open as to what this will entail, but it likely will include the following:

Workshopping / Critiques
The plan is to set aside an hour and a half to two hours to let all group members get a turn to share their pieces. Other group members will take turns with suggestions, constructive criticism, and any other insight.

Readings
If you simply want to read your work, you may do so. Readings will be done after the workshopping session.

If you’re interested in joining us, please send an email to bostonpoetrymag@gmail.com with ‘Workshops’ as the subject line. Please attach a few recent pieces of your work in any standard text file (PDF, Word, ODP, TXT, RTF, etc), and in the body please let us know what day(s) and time(s) would be good for you, where you’re located, and what you’re looking to focus on- having pieces workshopped, or getting critiques, or anything else along those lines.
